Another thing, Babies don't know how to ask for pacifiers, so if they just open their mouth for no apparent reason, dunk the pacifier in there as that's what they want 90% of the time. They don't know they want it either, they just know that they are suppose to suck on something. So they open their mouth as a sign.
And if the baby actually raises both of his hands and pushes your hands away, you better do it as he is overly stimulated and his nervous system can't handle all the excitement.. In other words BACK OFF!!!!
One thing we learned today, if the baby sneezes for a few times that means he is overly stimulated and must be put down and left alone.
