April 4, 2001 - ... Full feed of 20cc.. and No I.V. |

He is now being fed a Full feeding of 20cc. That's the normal feeding a baby gets every 3 hours. They also pulled out his IV and no more things stuck to him. His face also looks fatter now and is starting to show its shape. Oh yeah, to those who wanted to know, "Yes, He is still pooping really good". Because he is doing so well...He maybe moved from the ICU to an intermediate nursery.... Oh yeah, he now weighs 2lbs 6ounces.. he is getting fat. |

April 5, 2001 - ... His face is starting to get fat. |

We can now tell how his face is getting fatter. His weight didn't change much, he is up to 2lbs 7ounces. We talked to the nurse today
if they can remove the I.V. that's not being used out of his hand, they said NO because they don't want to have to poke him again, but from the way it looks Zeth isnt very happy with all the things wrapped around his hand... oh
well. Tamie got to hold him while he was being fed in the afternoon.... I wasn't there to take pictures.... sorry... I had to work . |

April 6, 2001 - ... Good news and bad news.. |

We visited him in the afternoon (Tamie was there earlier in the day). We got to feed Zeth and hold him for an hour. The nurse explained a few things and all. Around 9PM we came back to visit him again.... and to both our excitement, he is no longer in the ICU.. he has been moved to the Intermediate nursery. He is now what they call the "Feeder Grower". Sounds like a chicken to me... but its good. The Bad news, the baby that was next to Zeth didn't make it..... :-( - Once again, We would like to Thank everyone who has been praying for Zeth..... and for the support. |

Zeth is doing awesome.. He didn't gain any weight though.. :-(. They also did the head ultrasound to check to see if he has any
bleeding his brain, Apparently its normal for premies to have them... So far the tech said he didn't see anything wrong.. but its not official, so we have to wait for Doctor's report. On another Topic.... We planned a
baby shower for April 28. Since Zeth is already here, we decided to cancel it...but a couple of friends suggested that we "should" do it anyway.. So here we are, actually making a quick plan for it.... We are oficially
inviting YOU to come for the Baby shower.. We didn't have enough time to make invitations for everyone or ask everyone for their address....without knowing the baby would come out early.. Please email us if you are interested
in coming (RSVP Please) |

Oh-oh.. Zeth didn't gain any weight again, he didnt lose but he is stuck at 2lbs 7ounces. Tamie and I realized that we have been holding and lifting Zeth up from the bed too much for the past 2 days and we mentioned this to the nurse and she agreed that he burns calories whenever we pick him up.... and he gets fussy too, so We decided not to pick him up for a few days and see if his "no gain" weight thing is related to that. To those of you who feel like screaming at us for our Boo-Boo.. email to ohoh@yabutkids.com .. be nice! |

YEP! We were right. Zeth gained 1 ounce for the past 24 hours!.. :) All we have to do now is not pick him up and he will keep gaining weight!!!... He is doing great and his face is really starting to fill up. He is now 14" and 3 quarters long.. :) he is getting longer.... |

BWA-HA-HA-HA-HA! He gained another 2 ounces so he is now 2lbs 7ounces.. he should hit 3lbs by Friday if we keep our hands off him.. :) Hehehehehehe. The nurse last night was not good.. I didn't like her. |
