September 2001

We went to our first OB Doctor. Everything was fine and dandy.  We were so happy.  Tamie and I kept talking about what we will do with things... and blah, blah.. :)

Halloween 2001

Tamie called me from work, she was crying and said that she is coming home as she thinks she lost the baby.  She was bleeding heavy.

We went to the Doctor as soon as she got home. Doctor did a physical check on her and confirmed that she lost the baby.  We were both very upset but I had to tell Tamie that it probably just wasnt meant to be.  The Doctor (Dr. Charles Clinch) prescribed Tamie "methargine" to help the uterus push out anything else that's left there.  Methargine causes the uterus to contract.

Entier month of November

Tamie hasn't been feeling too well.  She was still bleeding heavy and in pain.  I asked her if I should call the Doctor and she said to wait, maybe it will pass.  Almost 4 weeks had gone by.. I was getting upset and worried.  I insisted to call the Doctors and Tamie said fine.  

I got on the phone and insisted that the OB see us that day...I wasnt taking NO for an answer.  I was upset on the phone with the doctors office and they agreed.

We went to see the OB and he ordered to have an ultrasound done to check her uterus as he is planning on doing a D&C.

I called the Ultrasound office that same time we got out of the OB office and was able to get an appointment for the next day with the ultrasound office.  I wanted to have it today but the office were close.

November 1 2001

We went to the Ultrasound office.  Tamie went in for the test(I didn't bother going in the ultrasound room with her as Tamie said she will be ok, A few minutes later , the tech came out and asked me to come in.  I walked in and Tamie was crying, A heartbeat.  The ultrasound was emiting a baby's heartbeat. The tech also said there's a fibroid.

I was about ready to go to the OB's office and rip his brains out, but I wanted someone to look at Tamie to make sure everything is ok and to find out why she is bleeding.

I called Tamie's primary care doctor and asked if they can see us that day. They said ok. We went to see them, they were shocked with our story and what Tamie had been through.  I asked for another OB that they can recommend. Our new OB - Arizona Wellness for Women.  I called them and asked for an appointment the same day.

We went to them.. all talk, telling them the story on what happened.  They checked everything and the baby checked out ok.  Tamie's bleeding had almost stopped so that was out of the picture for now.  We came home both happy and upset.  Tamie was ordered to be on Bedrest.

Sometime in November 2001

Tamie was a high-risk pregnancy.  We see the OB once a week.  She started bleeding again.  After visiting AZ Wellness for our third visit.  Dr. Winniger (our new ob) did a physical on Tamie to check if everything is ok. He wanted to find out where the bleeding was coming from.  Check it out and they cannot confirm where it is coming from.  It could be from the Fibroid or something else. We were given a few options on what to do... Tamie was put on Full Bedrest.

Thanksgiving Day was spent in the Emergency Room. She was in pain and bleeding.

December 2001

Bleeding is gone. Everything is ok.  There was some spotting here and there but nothing huge.

January 2001

Tamie had weird pains in her belly.  We went to the hospital and was kept there for 36 hours... Everything was fine after that.

February 2001

When Tamie and I got back from a little weekend trip, Tamie was in severe pain the next day.  We went to the hospital and aparently the fibroid is causing major pain as well as bleeding.  Good new is that it has degenerated.

March

After a couple more visits to the Emergency room. We knew all the nurses in the Labor and Delivery...

March 27 2001

Tamie's water broke.  Baby was 27weeks and 5 days. Too early.
