April 25, 2001 - The day we celebrate!...

You all probably think we are weird for being so happy when he hit 3lbs. Sorry, but for Zeth's progress and how he begun his journey in this planet, he started rather small.. so 3lbs makes us very happy... Today we get to bottle feed him more!

April 26, 2001 - Oh no!!!

Zeth was missing from his incubator today..... Tamie and I freaked out!

April 27, 2001 - One step at a time...

Another step forward. Zeth now gets the bigger baby incubator. The new incubator is only used to keep the box incubator controlled. The previous incubator he had was controlled based on his skin temparature. Zeth can now keep his body temparature that's why he got promoted to the new bed.

Zeth has visitors coming .....

April 28, 2001 - More visitors....

More visitors coming.... Zeth is getting lots of attention....

April 29, 2001 - Visitors afraid to touch him....

Well.. Mom (richard's mom) was surprise to see how small Zeth really is. You see, if you have never seen a premature baby before, you'd freak out if you see how small Zeth is. For us.. he is a growing baby. Now, between Kay and Jeremy, Jeremy had more guts to help me open Zeth's mouth to feed him compared to Kay... Kay was afraid she would hurt him.

April 30, 2001 - Camera Died....again!

We forgot to bring the camera with us in the hospital. It was in the truck. On our way home, we saw this funky looking car... took a picture... then poof. The camera died. We need to get new batteries... again.

May 1, 2001 - Feeding time.......

Did you know that Zeth gets a kiss from Mommy every 5 seconds when we are in the hospital...... and Dad gets ONE every 24 hours even though we live and sleep in the same house?????? Waaahhhh! . Why oh Why didnt anyone tell me this..!!!
